Village Tour

 

From the hotel we leave at 9:am and we will explore the village using a BECAK or tuk tuk on trip. You will explore how the local people live and work,pass rice fields and see how tofu or brown sugar are produced and visit local markets. You will get in touch with local people, and we will teach you how to make ketupat.

Ketupat or kupat is a typical Southeast Asian maritime dish made from basic ingredients wrapped in a wrap made of woven leaves of young coconut (janur), or sometimes from other palm leaves. Ketupat is mostly found during the Eid celebrations until the next 5 days when Muslims celebrate the end of the fasting month.
